BenQ launches large-sized full-HD LED televisions

TAIPEI--Taiwanese high-tech device supplier BenQ Corp. has launched two large-sized full-high definition (HD) LED TVs to strengthen its product portfolio.

Using AU Optronics Corp.'s extremely narrow frame technology, BenQ said, it aims to provide products “visually appealing to the eye.”

The bezels of the 50-inch and 65-inch models are only 0.3 centimeters and 1 centimeter, respectively, the smallest of any Taiwan-made TVs, the company said.

The 50RW6500 and 65RW6600 models are the latest in BenQ's RW series, featuring high-end picture quality, high color saturation and minimal light scatter, according to the company.
