CNATAIPEI, Taiwan -- Taiwan's aviation market could see steady growth, owing to the rapid expansion of travel across the Taiwan Strait, as well as continued market liberalization, a Boeing executive said yesterday in Taipei.

The growth in Taiwan's aviation sector is also a result of surging air travel demand in the Asia-Pacific region, said Randy Tinseth, vice president of Marketing at Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
With air travel in the region projected to grow at the rate of 6.4 percent through 2032, growth in Taiwan-based carriers is expected to continue, stated Tinseth.
