Taiwanese game firm to unveil Paypal-like services
CNATAIPEI--Taiwanese game developer Gamania Digital Entertainment Co. said Friday that it will later this month launch third-party payment services, which it assured are safe and meet international information security standards.

The company will offer the services via its subsidiary GASH PLUS, set up in 2011 to handle transactions between the game developer and gamers.
Gamania said it is aiming to provide clients with a safe and convenient way of payment and expects the new services to win ISO 27001 certification and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.
GASH PLUS currently handles up to nearly 200,000 valid transactions per day in Asia and over 4 million transactions per month, Gamania said.
