Property transaction prices remain stable
By Kathryn Chiu ,The China PostTAIPEI, Taiwan -- The latest official statistics showed that property transaction prices remained generally unchanged in June, with the highest housing property unit transaction price reaching NT$1.805 million per ping, while the equivalent for commercial property was NT$3.475 million per ping.

The Ministry of the Interior (內政部) on Friday released actual price registrations for real estate transactions for June.
An official from the Department of Land under Taipei City Government (台北市地政局) yesterday told The China Post that Daan district in Taipei has the most expensive home in Taiwan. This has remained the case in the period since a public real estate price registration scheme went into effect last August. The official also said the property transaction price in June remained stable across Taiwan.
The readings showed that the most expensive unit transaction price per ping for housing property in June appeared for a unit in RenAi Mansion (仁愛麗景) in Xinyi District, at NT$1.805 million per ping excluding the parking unit, followed by Bridge Upto Zenith A+ (橋峰A+) in Banqiao district, New Taipei, the total transaction price of which was NT$0.837 million.
The highest unit transaction price per ping for a commercial building registered at NT$3.475 million per ping, the location of which falls on section 2 of Anhe road (安和路二段) in Daan district, Taipei; while the second highest, at NT$1.1 million per ping, was for a commercial complex on Jing'an Road (景安路).
In terms of total transaction prices for June — which measured the total value and not the per ping value — a luxury apartment complex in Beitun District in Taichung City topped other housing property in major metropolitan areas with a price of NT$286 million.
In second spot for total transactions price was Farglory Fortuna (遠雄富都) on section 2 of Zhongshan district in Taipei City which went for NT$275 million. The highest total transaction price for housing in Kaohsiung in June was NT$93 million.
Regarding total transaction prices for commercial buildings for June, Taipei and New Taipei were higher than other major cities in Taiwan. Taipei had an office complex at the price of NT$274.6 million while New Taipei had a property transaction price at NT$161.59 million. The property was also an office complex.
