110th anniversary Harley-Davidsons go on presale

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Harley-Davidson is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year, and in addition to releasing limited-edition apparel and accessories in commemoration of the occasion, the firm's 110th Anniversary Edition Motorcycles are also currently on presale in Taiwan.

Taikoo Motorcycle Limited, Taiwan Branch, Harley-Davidson's local distributor, has put the 110th Anniversary Edition Motorcycles on display at its showrooms in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung, expecting to attract up to 2,000 Harley-Davidson aficionados across the island.

Harley-Davidson's 110th Anniversary Edition Motorcycles encompass six models: the Sportster 1200 Custom, the Dyna Super Glide Custom, the Heritage Softail Classic, the Softail Fat Boy Special, the Touring Road King, the Ultra Limited and the Electra Glide, catering to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who prefer the agile bikes of the Sportster family to the grand vehicles of the Touring family.

The vintage-hued anniversary edition motorcycles pay homage to Harley-Davidson's classics, featuring commemorative emblems with vehicle numbers on them and other unique specifications.

At over 2,310 square meters, Harley-Davidson's flagship store in Taipei is the largest in Asia, having received the Best Retail Environment Award in 2008. The Taipei flagship was visited by a host of high-level Harley-Davidson executives, including Harley-Davidson Motor Company President Matthew S. Levatich, Harley-Davidson Financial Services President Lawrence Gerard Hund and others in January.
