Yulon Group to hire 1,500 employees for expansionCNA TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Yulon Group, Taiwan's largest automaker, said yesterday that it is planning to recruit about 1,500 employees to expand its business, as the group is upbeat about the local car market.
March 7, 2013, 11:58 am TWN The group, which includes Yulon Motor Co., China Motor Corp., Yulon Nissan Motor Co., and Luxgen Motor Co., will hold a series of job fairs in the first half of this year to seek talent for research and development, management and marketing. The group will work with prestigious local universities, such as National Taiwan University, National Chiao Tung University and National Cheng Kung University, as well as the military, for the recruitment. As the group aims for a larger share in the local car market, it is planning to spend about NT$10 billion (US$338 million) on R&D and manufacturing, and to expand its distribution this year.
