Far EasTone expands cloud computing serviceThe China Post news staff TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Far EasTone Telecommunications Co. will expand its cutting-edge infrastructure as a service (IaaS) system for cloud computing ventures to all customers starting in March.
March 3, 2013, 12:03 am TWN Far EasTone, one of Taiwan's top telecom service companies, launched its IaaS cloud computing service in 2011 to provide the most advanced communications solutions to selected clients. The positive and warm market responses prompted the company to extend the same service to enterprises and organizations of all sizes and in all industries. All potential clients will be able to apply for test operations free of charge. New customers subscribing to the service will be able to enjoy the incentives of broadband expansion. They can vastly strengthen their competitiveness via improved information management service while enjoying the privileges of one extra month of free service with the twofold expansion of broadband system and capacity after using the service for 12 months. Far EasTone will also roll out the “database rental service” this year to save customers expenses because they can make use of the company's most sophisticated and reliable server networks in daily operations. The clients' normal operations will not be disrupted when they undergo equipment maintenance because of the FET's cloud computing services.
