Savills to auction NT$790 mil. in properties for Kolin

The properties include factories, housing, offices and land with total value estimated at NT$790 million.

Savills indicated that each property will be sold separately, with two in Taipei City, three in New Taipei City, four in Tainan, and one in Hualien County comprising the portfolio of properties up for bidding.

The most notably sought-after property is an office building conveniently situated near the Sanhe Junior High School station on the Luzhou MRT Line in Sanchong District.

With a base bid of NT$666 million, spanning across 4,866.75 ping, Savilles indicated that the property may be sold in a variety of formats, including sales of specific floors and other options.

The Sanchong building's per ping price is approximately NT$130,000, which represents an attractive option in comparison to the average of NT$260,000 to NT$300,000 for properties located in New Taipei City.

Savills also indicated that Kolin's land holdings near Taipei, New Taipei City and Sanchong District will be of great interest to real estate developers and speculators.
