January 10, 2013, 12:04 am TWN Despite domestic consumption remaining weak and Taiwan's poor economy in 2012, data showed that 13 Taiwan-listed companies recorded their highest month-on-month profits in December 2012. The TAIEX said Largan Precision currently counts HTC and Apple as customers, which shows that increased demand for smartphones helped sales. Largan Precision had four months of consecutive growth from September to December 2012. Its December performance was the highest of the four months. According to the TAIEX, St. Shine Optical Co. Ltd. achieved an annual growth of 42.42 percent.
