EVA Airways to expand fleet to 70+ planes by '16

TAIPEI -- EVA Airways will continue to expand its fleet with the aim of increasing the number of planes to more than 70 by 2016, the company said yesterday.

Taiwan's second-largest carrier said it took delivery in Germany the previous day of the first of 12 new Airbus A321-200s.

All 12 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered by 2014, the airline said.
