ll hold a charity Christmas concert tomorrow to help the needy. The concert will be held at the historic Red Theater in Taipei‘s Hsimen District, from 7 to 9 p.m.
The musical extravaganza, titled “Rejoice Taipei, Bring the Joy,” will feature a wide variety of musical genres including contemporary praise, hip-hop, African, Indy, and classical performed by artists from the Philippines, Africa, Taiwan, Canada and the United States.
Funds raised during the concert will go to the Mustard Seeds Orphanage, Taiwan Prison Ministries, Children‘s Lane and Other Agape ICA affiliates.
Agape ICA officials say the organization is once again proving its cutting-edge approach to helping those in need.
“It‘s incredible,” says Pastor Fari Rider, coordinator for Children‘s Lane and charismatic leader. “It‘s unlike anything Agape Taipei has ever done before.”
“With this strong international line-up, ’Rejoice‘ ventures into new territory and crosses cultural lines,” Agape ICA‘s Marcus Van says.
“It‘s an event that will bring various generations, faiths, and social classes together through music.”
