Brazil defeats Venezuela twice in world volleyball

CARACAS, Venezuela -- Brazil beat Venezuela 23-25, 31-29, 25-13, 24-20 in the world volleyball league on Sunday, extending a winning streak after defeating the Venezuelans a day earlier. The victory put Brazil at the top of Group A, which also includes France, Serbia and Venezuela. France holds second place, followed by Serbia in third and Venezuela in last place. Brazil beat Venezuela 16-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-19 on Saturday.
