Hull beats Watford, heads to Wembley to face Bristol

HULL, England -- Hull is going to Wembley stadium for the first time in its 104-year history.

The Tigers, who have never played in the top tier of English soccer, advanced to the promotion playoff final Wednesday by beating Watford 4-1 and 6-1 on aggregate.

Hull will face Bristol City on May 24 at Wembley with a spot in the Premier League at stake.

Nick Barmby, Caleb Folan, Richard Garcia and Nathan Doyle scored a goal each for Hull after Darius Henderson had given Watford a 1-0 lead.
