GLASGOW, Scotland –– Gavin Skelton scored with the final kick of the game and Gretna fin

ished its troubled Scottish Premier League season with a 1-0 victory over Hearts on Tuesday, still fearing that it might go out of business.

Gretna played most of the game with 10 men after striker Gary Glen kicked Hearts’ Craig Barr in the chest during a scuffle on the ground in the 26th minute. Last in the standings, already sure of relegation and hampered by a 10-point deduction for going into financial administration, Gretna still must rely on finding a new owner before the weekend. Otherwise it could close.

Gretna finished with 13 points after five victories and eight draws from 38 games. Hearts finished eighth with 48 points.
