South Korean skate queen leaves for Paris GP

SEOUL -- World figure skating champion Kim Yu-Na of South Korea is headed to Paris to take part in the first Grand Prix series competition of the 2009-2010 season, her agent said Tuesday.

The 19-year-old, who won her first world championship title in March, has been training in Toronto with Canadian coach Brian Orser. She arrives in Paris on Wednesday, said IB Sports.

For her short program, Kim has selected a medley of James Bond theme tunes. For free skate, she will perform to George Gershwin's Concerto in F.
