PROMAX speeds along Taipei Olympic delegation

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- PROMAX has sponsored Chinese Taipei’s Olympic Delegation, and hopes the team will meet with great success during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, said Yang Hong, a spokesman for PROMAX, while giving over 160 of its ‘29” Pullman Street Racer’ wheeled luggage units to representatives of the delegation, Peng Cheng-min and Ni Fu-de, at a press conference yesterday.

Yang Hong said that the Pullman luggage units were specially designed for the contestants, combining sport and fashion. The pieces also used the color red for good luck for the Chinese Taipei delegation, and sported the commemorative logo of the plum blossom with the words “2008 Chinese Taipei Beijing Olympic Delegation” imprinted.

“Red color symbolizes good luck and will definitely help us in our striving for a medal,” said Ni Fu-de, who pitches for the Chinese Taipei baseball team.

The PROMAX ‘Street Racer’ sports a large capacity and sturdy design which can protect belongings properly while traveling. The sports car inspired zippers and safety lock were specially designed and show PROMAX’s modern style.

Peng Cheng-ming, who plays as a first baseman, said as they demonstrated their luggage that he likes the built-in headphone design which is very handy for listening to music, and can relax him anytime.

Yang also promised that if the Chinese Taipei baseball team claims a place in the top four, all PROMAX merchandise will be sold at 20% discount.
