Tampa Bay wins in OT over Atlanta 4-3

The Thrashers, who ended five-game homestand with three straight losses, equalized at 3-3 on Slava Kozlov's second goal and rookie Evander Kane's seventh during a 1:52 span late in the third period.

But Stamkos, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 draft, ended the game by taking Martin St. Louis' pass from the left circle and beating Atlanta goaltender Ondrej Pavelec with a tip-in.

Blackhawks 1, Canucks 0 At Vancouver, Bryan Bickell scored his first goal of the season 1:12 into the third period, while Antii Niemi made 30 saves in Chicago's win.

After Niemi made several great saves to keep it scoreless through two periods, defenseman Brian Campbell helped set up the only goal early in the third, skating in from the point, eluding a check on the boards, and cutting into the crease. He lost the puck in a crowd in front but it squirted right to Bickell at the far side for a tap-in goal behind sprawled goalie Roberto Luongo.

It was the first goal since April 2007 for Bickell, who was playing just his sixth game of a season spent mostly in the minors.
