Iginla's hat trick lifts Flames over Kings

Senators 5, Sabres 3 In Ottawa, Daniel Alfredsson had two goals and an assist as Ottawa won a third straight by downing Buffalo.

Filip Kuba had a goal and three assists for the Senators, who also got goals from Chris Kelly and Milan Michalek. Thomas Vanek, Patrick Kaleta and Jason Pominville scored for Buffalo.

Predators 4, Blue Jackets 3, SO In Nashville, Tennessee, Mike Santorelli and David Legwand got the shootout goals for Nashville, sinking Columbus.

Goaltender Pekka Rinne stopped two of Columbus' three shooters in the tiebreaker to earn his fifth consecutive victory.

Jason Arnott, Legwand and Martin Erat scored in regulation for Nashville. R.J. Umberger had two goals, and Anton Stralman also scored for the Blue Jackets.

Red Wings 3, Canadiens 2, SO In Montreal, Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg scored on Detroit's first two shootout attempts to lift the Red Wings past Montreal.

Brad Stuart and Datsyuk scored power-play goals 2:01 apart in the first period for Detroit, coming off a shootout loss to Florida.

Mike Cammalleri scored twice in the third for Montreal, beaten after regulation for the first time this season.

Panthers 3, Rangers 2 In New York, Nathan Horton, Jordan Leopold and Steven Reinprecht scored goals as Florida edged New York.

Tomas Vokoun made 32 saves for the Panthers, who have recovered from a slow start to post an 8-2-1 in their past 11 games.

Vinny Prospal and Marian Gaborik scored for New York, which has dropped three in a row at home.

Maple Leafs 2, Capitals 1, SO In Toronto, Phil Kessel and Niklas Hagman scored shootout goals to give Toronto its first victory in six games — and first in extra time all season — by overcoming Washington.

Hagman also scored in regulation for the Maple Leafs. Alex Ovechkin scored his 16th goal for Washington.

Blues 4, Islanders 1 In St. Louis, David Perron scored twice as St. Louis beat New York.

Patrik Berglund had his first goal in 13 games for St. Louis, while Eric Brewer also scored.

Josh Bailey found the net for New York.

Hurricanes 3, Lightning 1 In Raleigh, North Carolina, Tuomo Ruutu and Jussi Jokinen scored second-period goals to lift Carolina over Tampa Bay. Manny Legace made 20 saves for the Hurricanes, who have points in each of their last five games. Chad LaRose added a goal with 4:23 remaining.

Martin St. Louis scored for the Lightning.
