Blackhawks rout the Flames 7-1

The Thrashers picked up a point when Maxim Afinogenov scored with 41 seconds remaining in regulation.

Boston goaltender Tuukka Rask stopped all three Atlanta skaters in the shootout, while Bergeron scored on the Bruins' opening attempt.

Michael Ryder scored twice, and Marco Sturm also had a regulation goal for Boston. Kovalchuk and Nik Antropov also scored for Atlanta.

Blues 3, Coyotes 2, OT In St. Louis, Erik Johnson scored on an end-to-end rush 17 seconds into overtime to give St. Louis its first victory in five overtime games this season, edging Phoenix.

After Phoenix put the puck in St. Louis' end, Johnson gained control, skated up left wing and crossed the Coyotes' blue line with the puck. The defenseman moved into the high slot and beat the goalie with a wrist shot.

Keith Tkachuk and T J. Oshie also scored for St. Louis. Radim Vrbata and Vernon Fidder scored for Phoenix.

Ducks 4, Lightning 3, OT In Anaheim, California, Scott Niedermayer scored a power-play goal 52 seconds into overtime as Anaheim escaped with a win over Tampa Bay despite blowing a three-goal lead.

Corey Perry extended his career-best point streak to 13 games with a power play goal and two assists, and Ryan Getzlaf and Teemu Selanne each had a goal and two assists for the Ducks.

Jeff Halpern, Steven Stamkos and Martin St. Louis scored for Tampa Bay to force overtime.

Hurricanes 6, Maple Leafs 5, SO In Raleigh, North Carolina, Tuomo Ruutu and Jussi Jokinen scored in the shootout and Carolina rallied from three goals down to beat Toronto.

Ian White put the Maple Leafs ahead 5-4 with 30 seconds remaining, but Erik Cole tapped in a rebound with 3 seconds left to force overtime.

Carolina's Tim Gleason scored twice in the third period, Matt Cullen had a goal and an assist, and he and Stephane Yelle scored 43 seconds apart in the second as the Hurricanes had a club-record fourth straight overtime game.

For Toronto, Alexei Ponikarovsky had a goal and an assist, and Matt Stajan, Lee Stempniak and Mikhail Grabovski also scored for the Maple Leafs, who led 3-0 after one period but saw their winless streak reach five.
