The Devils can equal the road streak record Monday in Philadelphia. Penguins captain Sidney Crosby ended a five-game scoreless streak by assisting on Ruslan Fedotenko's goal in the first period, but still had a frustrating night as the Stanley Cup champions lost their fourth in a row. Panthers 1, Bruins 0 At Boston, Tomas Vokoun stopped 40 shots for his third shutout of the season, and Cory Stillman scored in a shootout to give Florida a victory over Boston. Boston's Tim Thomas made 23 saves in regulation and overtime to extend his shutout streak to 172 minutes, 28 seconds. He stopped the first three Florida attempts in the shootout, but Stillman beat him on the glove side to end it. Flyers 5, Senators 1 At Philadelphia, Ray Emery made 22 saves in his first start against his former team, and Danny Briere scored twice to help Philadelphia beat Ottawa. Blair Betts, James Van Riemsdyk and Darroll Powe also scored for the Flyers in their fifth straight victory. Mike Fisher scored for Ottawa. Emery was cut loose by Ottawa in 2008, the year after he led the Senators to the Stanley Cup finals. He played in Russia last season. Thrashers 5, Rangers 3 At New York, Ilya Kovalchuk had a goal and two assists in his first game back from a foot injury, and Rich Peverley also had a goal and two assists for Atlanta. Kovalchuk missed the previous six games. Evander Kane added a goal and assist, and Colby Armstrong and Maxim Afinogenov also scored in Atlanta's fourth win in six games. Artem Anisimov, Marian Gaborik and Brian Boyle scored for New York. Lightning 4, Wild 3, SO At Tampa, Florida, Ryan Malone scored the equalizer with 14.7 seconds left in regulation, and Vincent Lecavalier and Steven Stamkos scored in the shootout for Tampa Bay. Malone tied it 3 on a backhander during a power play with Lightning goalie Antero Niittymaki off the ice for an extra skater. Stamkos had a goal and an assist in regulation, and Steve Downie also scored. Benoit Pouliot, Kim Johnsson and Owen Nolan scored for Minnesota. Red Wings 3, Canucks 1 At Detroit, Henrik Zetterberg scored midway through the third period and Jimmy Howard made 31 saves as Detroit downed Vancouver. Tomas Holmstrom and Niklas Kronwall also scored for Detroit. Roberto Luongo made 26 saves for Vancouver and Mason Raymond scored the lone goal. Stars 3, Sharks 2, SO At San Jose, California, Stephane Robidas scored the only shootout goal to lift Dallas after James Neal and Mike Modano tied it with goals in a 1:45 span in the third. Marty Turco made 30 stops for the Stars. Dany Heatley and Ryane Clowe scored in a 2:11 span in the second period for San Jose. Predators 3, Blues 1 At St. Louis, Jordin Tootoo scored on a wrist shot with 3:43 left to lift Nashville past St. Louis. Patric Hornqvist and David Legwand also scored, and Pekka Rinne made 21 saves. Brad Boyes scored for St. Louis. Canadiens 4, Coyotes 2 At Glendale, Arizona, Marc-Andre Bergeron and Glen Metropolit scored 1:02 apart in the third period, and Carey Price made 18 saves for Montreal. Michael Cammalleri and Brian Gionta also scored, and Tomas Plekanec had three assists. Paul Bissonnette scored his first career goal, and Robert Lang also scored for Phoenix.
