Camera, phone ban for Tiger in Australian

MELBOURNE -- Organizers of the Australian Masters have banned spectators from bringing cameras and mobile phones to prevent a repeat of the crowd distractions which infuriated Tiger Woods in Shanghai last week.

World number one Woods flew into Melbourne on Monday ahead of his first appearance in Australia for 11 years and tournament officials were leaving nothing to chance with the most eagerly awaited golfing event here for years.

Woods will attract massive public galleries at the Kingston Heath sandbelt course.

All 25,000 tickets for each of the four days of the tournament were sold out early last month.
