But he was cleared by his sponsors to travel to China for the more prestigious event and confirmed his participation on Thursday. The US$7 million Champions tournament has been included on the World Golf Championship event for the first time this year and will take place at the Sheshan International Golf Club from Nov. 5 and boasts a stellar field headed by Woods.
