TAIPEI--Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin returned to court in Game 6 before a home crowd Saturday after missing two games because of a bruised chest, but was unable to stop the first-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder and the Rockets were eliminated from the playoffs.
The Rockets entered the game trailing 3-2 in their bid to force a Game 7 in the first round of the playoffs. But with Thunder's Kevin Durant scoring 27 and Kevin Martin adding 25, the Rockets lost to the Thunder 103-94, ending their run in the playoffs.
Lin did not start, but entered with about 2 1/2 minutes left in the first quarter. With James Harden's assist, Lin made a three-pointer in the second quarter, his only score in the game.
The Thunder opened the fourth quarter with a big run to end the playoffs journey for the Rockets and earn themselves a spot in the second round of the playoffs for the third straight season.
