TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Jeremy Lin and James Harden contributed 51 points in the Houston Rockets' 118-103 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers Friday at the Toyota Center.
Lin scored 16 points on 6-10 shooting, including 2-for-3 from behind the arc and four assists. Meanwhile, the hot-shooting Harden scored 35 points and had 11 assists, leading the Rockets to a 118-103 win over their guests.
Patrick Patterson and Chandler Parsons added 16 and 20 points, respectively, which helped the Rockets into a comfortable double-digit lead late in the third quarter and for the rest of the game.
Lin said he did not feel any pressure from the presence of former Rocket center Yao Ming, who watched the game from courtside. "I'm thankful that he did come and watch. It's a cool honor," Lin said.
Prior to the game, Yao praised the way Lin has handled the mounting pressure that has come with the international attention since Lin's magic run with the New York Knicks last year.
