Rondo rampages early as Celtics top Milano 105-75AP MILAN -- Rajon Rondo scored all 17 of his points in the first quarter and added six assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 105-75 win over Emporio Armani Milano on Sunday, two days after the NBA team opened its preseason European tour with a loss in Turkey.

He underwent surgery and became a free agent before re-signing with the Celtics in August. On Friday in Istanbul, Fenerbahce Ulker beat the Celtics 97-91. The Celtics return to Boston on Monday and resume practice on Thursday before playing their first U.S. preseason game against the New York Knicks in Hartford, Connecticut, next weekend. |
