Rockets end 7-game skid, barely, with Bobcats winCNA TAIPEI--The Houston Rockets rallied from behind to defeat the Charlotte Bobcats 100-94 and end their seven-game losing streak, but Jeremy Lin was not on the floor for the comeback.
January 23, 2013, 12:01 am TWN The Rockets were led by guard James Harden, who scored 29 points despite a 5-20 shooting night from the floor. Shooting poorly, Harden ended up taking the ball to the basket. He went 19-21 from the free throw line, including a perfect 10-10 when the game was on the line in the fourth quarter, helping Houston rally from a seven-point deficit against the 10-31 Bobcats. “It felt like winning a championship,” Harden said of snapping the seven-game losing streak. The Rockets improved their record to 22-21, the eighth best in the Western Conference. Lin played 24 minutes and scored four points on 1-5 shooting.
