Butler, Callaspo agree to sign with Royals

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Billy Butler and Alberto Callaspo, the top two hitters for the Royals last season, have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with Kansas City.

Butler, the Royals' player of the year, agreed to a deal worth US$470,000, a raise from US$421,000.
