Stars shine in strong Champions League start for big guns

In Group A, CSKA Moscow came from behind to win 2-1 at Benfica for their first group away win since November 2014, while Manchester United had a comfortable 3-0 victory at home over Basel with goals from goals from Marouane Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford.

Manager Jose Mourinho though was critical of some of his side's play in the second half at Old Trafford.

"After 2-0 everything changed, we stopped playing seriously and stopped making right decisions," he told BT Sport."

"We could have put ourselves in trouble. We were playing fantasy football, Playstation football. I don't like it - flicks and tricks. We gambled and you have to respect your opponent."
