TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Taiwan and China should work together on WiMA-- and digital books, said J.T. Wang, chairman of the Taipei Computer Association (TCA), yesterday.

Wang made the remarks at a cross-strait technology forum held at Taipei's Grand Hotel.

“Both sides should work on WiMA-- and digital books,” he said. “I believe COMPUTE-- TAIPEI will provide a good platform for collaboration.”

COMPUTE-- TAIPEI, organized annually by TCA and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, is the world's second-largest information technology trade show, second only to CeBIT held in Hannover, Germany.

Each year, COMPUTE-- TAIPEI attracts exhibitors from over 180 countries and some 40,000 visitors, he said.
