The couple tried to avoid police suspicion and escape their investigation by living close to the National Pingtung University of Education where numerous students live.

Police had been monitoring the suspects and the building for more than two months after receiving an anonymous report.

They arrested the naked couple while the other man was out for breakfast yesterday morning, and discovered nearly 300 kg of partially completed amphetamines and liquid ingredients in addition to drug paraphernalia.

The residents told the police that they had smelled the odor for a long time, but didn't know where it was coming from.
