CNN has gone too far in insulting Taiwan TAIPEI, Taiwan -- CNN has gone too far in reporting about the poor performace of Taiwan government in managing the havoc brought about by Typhoon Morakot. Its reference to President Ma Ying-cheou as “That Man” is an insult to the people of Taiwan, though President Ma deserves to be criticized. Now I can understand why the entire Moslem world cannot tolerate the arrogance of the Western media in their reporting. CNN, leave Taiwan alone, please! Taiwan is not an American colony! |
