Two dead bodies found in Taipei County creek

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Two unidentified dead bodies of a woman and a boy were found in a creek in Taipei County yesterday, police said.

Police were cited by the Central News Agency as saying that they were still trying to identify them, and had yet to determine whether they were related and the cause of the death.

According to CNA, firefighters in the county received a report that a body was found in a creek near Shuiyuan Rd. in Hsichih at about 3:30 p.m.

The firefighters recovered the body, and found that it was a boy about 150 cm tall, wearing a shirt with blue and white stripes and a pair of orange pants. At around 4 p.m. they found another body of a woman about 30 meters upstream from where the boy was found. CNA did not describe the woman and what she was wearing.
