The museum, which normally is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will hold a special night session from 6: 30 p.m. to 9: 30 p.m. every Saturday night from July 4 to Aug. 29.

The museum began extending its hours during the summer in 2004 and entertains visitors with a light and shadow show in Taichi Square that lets them play hide-and-seek with the gigantic Taichi figures surrounding the square.

The museum showcases the works of Taiwan's best-known sculptor, Ju Ming, on an open 10-hectare site. Most of the sculptures feature people from different walks of life, such as soldiers, ballet dancers, athletes, and scientists, using a vast array of materials.

Visitors can study the artworks and appreciate their beauty by touching them and feeling their texture.
