China to have 3-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Mainland China will go on a three-day holiday for the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, from May 28 to 30. Workers will go back to work on Sunday, May 31.

Authorities say that workers required to work on May 28, the day of the festival itself, must be paid overtime wages worth 300% of the worker's usual wage. Workers required to work on May 29 or May 30 must be paid an overtime rate of 200 percent.
