Ang Lee dominates Golden Horse

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Ang Lee's spy thriller "Lust, Caution" dominated the Golden Horse Awards in his native Taiwan Saturday, winning best film, best director and best actor.

Tony Leung Chiu-wai won for his portrayal of a calm, ruthless Japanese-allied spy chief in World War II-era Shanghai.

Female lead Tang Wei, however, lost to veteran Joan Chen, who won best actress honors for portraying the struggles of a Hong Kong nightclub singer who moves to Australia in "The Home Song Stories."

Veteran Hong Kong actor Tony Leung Ka-fai won best supporting actor for playing a gangster who tries to protect his son from revenge in "The Drummer." Chinese actress Fan Bingbing was named best supporting actress for playing a ghost in "The Matrimony."
