TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Taipei Smart Card Corporation announced yesterday that it will introduce a commemorative "Yankees Ace 2007" Wang Chien-ming EasyCard collection, which will feature the Yankees pitcher in different uniforms over the 2007 season.

Wang, the New York Yankees'ace who shares the MLB lead for wins with an 18-6 record, notched his latest victory yesterday against the Kansas City Royals.

EasyCards are used to access Taipei's metropolitan transportation system, including the MRT, city buses, and the Maokong Gondola.

The Wang Chien-ming EasyCard collection will also include metal cardholders bearing the New York Yankees logo under authorization by the U.S.'s Major League Baseball, Taipei Smart Card Corporation reportedly said.

The collection will feature four EasyCards with the names "Movement," "Stillness," "Stability," and "Intelligence," which Taipei Smart Card Corporation said displays Wang's presence as the Yankees' ace pitcher through his balance of motion and rest, stable mentality, and intelligent pitching.

Memorabilia collectors can begin placing orders for the collection on September 22 at all FamilyMart convenience stores.

2,000 Wang Chien-ming EasyCard collections will be available for order on September 22, with FamilyMart reserving another 3,000 collections for sale at another date.
