He said the lawmakers would review “the causes of success and shortcomings” to help the nation move forward. Last year, Vietnam posted 8.2 percent growth, making it one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. During the two-week session, the assembly will hear reports from Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and President Nguyen Minh Triet and also discuss several laws.
