Krosa still making impact; China on alertKrosa is expected to continue affecting the island until noon today, while China braced for the storm and ordered the provinces of Zhejiang and Fujian to call back to harbor more than 27,000 fishing boats. At 7:00 p.m. yesterday, Krosa was centered at the sea 30 kilometers east of the eastern county of Hualien, moving north-north-westerly at 11 kph toward the island and packing maximum sustained winds of 198 kph, according to Central Weather Bureau.
