Adapted from a hit Japanese manga, "Dance Subaru!" seems to be another good-looking but shallow Y.A. (young adult) film in the Asian market, though it is unexpectedly deep and attractive to any walk of audience.

Directed by Philippe Muyl (“Le Papillon”), “Magique!” (Magic) is a movie about just that—the magic of laughter and of love. The film centers on Betty (Marie Gillain), a young woman raising her ten year-old son, Tommy (Louis Dussol), alone on an isolated farm in the Canadian countryside.

You might expect the set of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” to be a bit like summer camp, with a bunch of young actors running around in shorts and T-shirts.

It was going to hit this track eventually. Adapted from one of the highest grossing musical in Broadway, British playwright Catherine Johnson’s “Mama Mia!” has finally become the victim of temptation from Universal Pictures, singing actors and hordes of ABBA fans.

Some people just won’t stop believing in the romance of rock. Hip-hop and dance pop are more innovative; country has a more loyal audience; Josh Groban makes way more money.
