Updated Monday, November 9, 2009 9:41 am TWN, CNA University inks MOU with U.S. organizationsThe MOU was signed at the university by its Vice President Feng Da-hsuan, Chairman of BNL's Medical Department Gene-Jack Wang, and Olivia Ho Cheng, president and chief executive officer of the imaging technology company. The three organizations will forge cooperative ties that would benefit all of them and will focus on sharing non-patented data, a school spokesman said Sunday. BNL, formally established in 1947, is a U.S. national laboratory overseen and funded by the Department of Energy. It conducts research in the physical, biomedical, and environmental sciences, as well as in energy technologies and national security, the spokesman added. Aurora Imaging Technology Inc., based in Massachusetts, is committed to the fight against breast cancer through advanced imaging technology. The Aurora Breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system is the market's only FDA-approved MRI system designed specifically and exclusively for breast imaging and interventional procedures, according to the spokesman.
