NGO urges Taiwanese to participate in Earth HourCNA TAIPEI--An organization urged a million people in Taiwan yesterday to switch off their lights for an hour on March 23 to support and observe the Earth Hour this year, during which 100,000 kWh of electricity can be saved.

Many people across the world will turn their lights off at 8:30 p.m. on March 23 — at participant's local time — this year to show that they can change the world by altering their behavior and attitude towards global climate change.
