Jaguar releases new XF model

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Jaguar recently launched its XF 3.0 TDV6 model in Taiwan, taking the island's luxury car market by storm.

The carmaker's flagship XF series has been ranked No. 1 in terms of quality, sales and stability by the J.D. Power Association. It has also been recognized by the UK-based Auto Express magazine and U.S.-based AutoPacific organization.

The XF 3.0 TDV6 — a new addition to the XF series — runs on diesel fuel and was immediately chosen by What Diesel Magazine as the best executive vehicle for 2009.

To showcase the vehicle, the brand's Taiwan distributor is now displaying the XF 3.0 TDV6 Premium at its Taoyuan flagship show room. Six-star customer service is also offered at the facility to show residents in the greater Taoyuan area that Jaguar cares about its clients.

Jaguar has seen its market share rise amidst a recession in the luxury vehicle market.

For the month of July, Jaguar's XF series enjoyed a growth of 3.2 percent in the UK and one percent in the U.S., compared to the same period last year.

“This is in stark contrast with a decline of 27 percent for mid- to large-size luxury vehicles in the global market,” Jaguar says.
