Newly designed Mazda 5 unveiled over the weekend

To emphasize that Mazda 5 is a superb family vehicle, Mazda invited members of the famous children's performance troupe the Yoyo Group to perform at a news conference unveiling the vehicle. The group will perform at Mazda dealerships island-wide from now to Oct. 25.

The vehicle boasts several intelligent functions. Its chip-embedded key serves as a remote control for opening the car's doors. The driver can either touch a button on the key or place the key near the vehicle, and the sliding doors will open automatically.

The car with a capacity of seven passengers has an air conditioning opening in the back to provide better ventilation. This design allows passengers in the second and third rows to also enjoy air conditioning.

The all new Mazda 5 has a new color — greenish gray — in addition to the existing colors of while, silver, black and gray that drivers can choose from.

The vehicle has an MZR 2.0L DOHC 16V engine that stresses performance. Its fuel consumption rate of 12.4km/L has been recognized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
