70 year old caps off six major events with London Marathon finish

He was bruised and bloodied after a collision with another runner at the 35 kilometer mark, but that didn't stop Lee Te-yi from getting to the finish line.

The 70-year-old Taiwanese runner, cheered on by spectators, finished the London Marathon on Sunday, completing his sixth major marathon in four years. He was awarded the Six Star Finisher medal for his feat.

Before yesterday's competition, Lee had completed marathons in Tokyo, Berlin, Chicago, New York and Boston. Lee told reporters he had only started running marathons at age of 60.

Lee was unable to finish the Boston Marathon in 2013 after it was the target of a terrorist attack, but subsequently completed the event a year later.
