Nine-year-old Austria boy burns down supermarket

VIENNA -- A 9-year-old Austrian boy was responsible for starting a fire that destroyed a supermarket, police said Friday following a four-month investigation.

The blaze in June caused several million euros' (dollars) worth of damage. No one was hurt. Police gave no details but media reports said that the boy set fire to rolls of toilet paper on the shelves of the store in Dornbirn, western Austria, because he was “bored.”
