6 die in retirement home fire in Seville, Spain
MADRID -- A regional government official says a fire at a retirement home in the southern Spanish city of Seville has killed six people and injured 12. Micaela Navarro, Social Welfare councilor for the government, says 13 people were rescued unhurt from the three-floor house in central Seville. The fire broke out around midnight Monday in an upstairs room.
The injured are being treated Tuesday at the city's Virgen del Rocio hospital.
