So far they have not informed us. We are checking if she has entered the country,” he said. “I do not know if she is in Malaysia or not,” Bakri added. The Daily Mail has reported that Wong was returned to Malaysia without Malaysian police or the government's knowledge. It said Wong was handed 4,500 pounds (7,400 dollars) to leave Britain after serving half of her five-year jail sentence for the offence. Wong was accompanied by British immigration officials on the flight to Kuala Lumpur on November 2. The paper said Wong was convicted of the manslaughter of Hugo Wang, whom she was supposed to be looking after at her home in Salford, Greater Manchester, in 2008.
