Two tickets win UK's largest lottery payout

LONDON -- European lottery officials say two British ticketholders have shared a jackpot of 90 million pounds (US$150 million) — the largest lottery prizes ever paid out in the United Kingdom.

Lottery organizer Camelot says two tickets in Friday's EuroMillions competition both won about 45.5 million pounds (US$75 million) each.

The winners have yet to come forward.

Britain's previous record win came in 2007, when a postal worker won 35 million pounds (US$58 million).
