Updated Tuesday, November 3, 2009 3:34 pm TWN, AP Magnitude 5.7 quake rattles western GreeceAthens Geodynamic Institute says the undersea quake struck at 07:25 a.m. (0525 GMT, 12:25 a.m. EST) Tuesday near the Ionian sea island of Zakynthos, 205 miles (335 kilometers) west of Athens. Institute seismologist Dimitris Papanastasiou says the area where the quake occurred is one of the most seismically active in Europe.
