Updated Tuesday, October 21, 2008 10:13 am TWN, AFP Jordan’s king in Chile for first Latin America tourThe king, 46, accompanied by his Palestinian-born wife Queen Rania and a delegation of business leaders, was to be received by Chile’s leader Michelle Bachelet at the La Moneda presidential palace. The two leaders were expected to sign various agreements promoting tourism and economic cooperation during his visit in Chile, which ends Wednesday. The king also was to be feted late Sunday at a state dinner in his honor in Santiago. On Tuesday he was to give a speech in Chile about the Islamic world, and also was to take part here in a binational business roundtable gathering.
